3/1/2024 0 Comments My demon friend porngameThe vial system now has a forced tutorial and introduction. Still, they may not be available every day.Ĭorruption and Hunger systems now have a proper introduction that activates automatically. In addition, each day offers three alternative storylines, so you'll no longer have to skip to a specific day to see your favorite character. Instead of days with only one character, you can now experience multiple storylines daily. The way you play through the story has massively changed. You just now have access to content faster. Instead of long stretches of a specific time, everything is much simpler now as the time is simply "Morning," "Afternoon," or "Night."ĭay 6 and Day 7 are now one day called "The Weekend." This change was needed as there'd sometimes be a unique event on Saturday, but Sunday was usually just a dead day, and most of you probably skipped. Time has been completely reworked in v1.1. If you're at 100 hunger, you're hungry and need to feed. If you are now at zero hunger, you're not hungry. The hunger system for the female MC has been reworked. The energy system has been removed in v1.1 as the new time system now limits how much content you can access in a single day. Some dialogue has been improved, and rewritten. Updated UI, cleaned up code, and added visual improvements. Experience select scenes with Envy, and her useless human companion, Sheldon! In this mode, you'll see events from Sheldon's point of view, so players who missed out on specific gender scenes can now enjoy them, Sheldon.

3/1/2024 0 Comments Pica pica arepa san franciscoThe empanadas ($3.99) had four different tasty fillings, but ultimately were way too oily for me to handle. One more quibble: the cheese was never melted enough on the ones that came with cheese. Actually, there are plenty of vegetarian options (vegan too, just ask) but go for the bean-based fillings-we found the tofu needed some TLC (and flavor). There are also specials, like one evening there was the complete opposite of the pabellón (the yoga, teacher, if you will): a healthy and light mix of arugula, carrot, parsnip, rutabaga, goat cheese, and garlic spread. There are a couple chicken options, like catira (with cheese) or the pepeada, a creamy avocado-chicken salad that would work well for lunch. Of the fillings, the pabellón, with shredded skirt steak, sweet plantains, black beans, and cheese, ended up becoming my new favorite. The folks at the counter are happy to make suggestions and steer you-don’t worry, there won’t be a pop quiz at the end. It takes a little while to figure out what to order since the ingredients will feel unfamiliar (you will ask yourself questions like, “Should I have the chorizo in an arepa or maize’wich?”). (My preferred meat delivery vehicle was the arepa since I’m more into savory than sweet.) Oh, and you can add a soup, and side or salad for only $3.25. The maize’wich is like a bastard child of the two: it has the cake-y texture of the arepa, but the sweeter corn base of the cachapa. (Gluten-free diners, rejoice at all these wheat-free options! Go nuts.) The arepa has a crunchy exterior with a soft filling and is cut open like a pocket, while the cachapa is sweet and folded like a quesadilla once you choose your filling. You can choose an arepa ($7.99), a grilled corn flatbread a “maize’wich” ($7.99), a grilled sweet cornbread or a cachapa ($8.99), a sweet corn pancake-and then you take your pick from 10 different fillings. It’s a fast-casual joint: you order at the counter, and bring a number to your table. This Venezuelan outpost has opened a second location in San Francisco, a bit off the main Valencia Street drag at the corner of 15th Street (where Mi Lindo Yucatan used to be). And then stuff some tomatoes, cheese, avocado, and aioli in there, and you have one hell of a sandwich. Imagine a juicy and deeply seasoned pork chuck, nestled into a white corn cake that is about the size of your standard pita bread, but fluffier-more like a fat and sturdy pupusa. But one day I took a break from the rotisserie pig to try another kind o’ puerco: the pernil arepa from PICA PICA MAIZE KITCHEN. Whenever I’d venture up to Napa, I wouldn’t miss the opportunity to go to Oxbow Public Market, stocking up on spices from the Whole Spice Company, charcuterie from Fatted Calf, and of course stuffing my face with a porchetta sandwich from Roli Roti (which is sadly no longer there). 3/1/2024 0 Comments Mou boots anthropologieItaliano English Español localphone +39 0422 1440013. Creases also stay better when editing the wings to their desired look, but be careful to not over-fold the paper in the same area. Note: It is easier to make cool designs on dragons folded with foil, especially if you are rolling the paper rather than folding it. I wanted this blue dragon to look like an ice dragon. The wings are folded to make it look like icicles or glacier effect. The blue dragon has a more swirly effect on its tail, as well as two extra folds added to the horn. The neck is slim enough for me to put a pen's spring around it for decoration. Like the silver dragon, it's neck and tail are folded inwards again. The red dragon also has it's tail edited slightly, and it's wings are folded inwards and flattened. I named it the "mantis dragon" because of it's similarities to a praying mantis. The silver dragon has its horn rolled downwards, tail edited slightly, and wings folded into more of a claw look. These images are simply ideas of what can be done when playing around with the dragon. 3/1/2024 0 Comments Alternative to cyberduckKey differentiators of Diplomat MFT are features such as automation of file based business workflows, a single pane of glass view of all file transfers, and various reporting options, making it easier to manage file transfers and ensure compliance with regulations.Īlso, Filezilla only supports the SFTP and FTP/S protocols. It provides additional security features such as encryption of files in transit and at rest, and role based access controls to ensure that only authorized users can access the files. MFT software, like Diplomat MFT, is a more advanced and secure solution designed for businesses that need to transfer sensitive or confidential files. MFT (Managed File Transfer) softwareand FileZilla are both file transfer solutions, but they serve different purposes and have different features that make them suitable for different use cases. In summary, the FileZilla client is used to transfer files to and from various servers, while the FileZilla server is used to allow many remote clients to connect and transfer files to and from it. (By comparison, the Diplomat MFT Edge Gateway sits in the DMZ with Diplomat MFT tucked safely in the back-end network, without any files nor credentials stored on the server in the DMZ, which is much safer.) It is typically used by competent technical professionals or those with a lower budget and no security, compliance, or reporting requirements, to meet the need of providing access to files hosted on the FileZilla server.Īnother major security drawback is that FileZilla server lacks the ability to connect with an edge gateway, meaning FileZilla server must be placed in an internet-facing location, such as a company’s DMZ. It allows ‘FTP’ clients to connect to it, upload and download files from it. On the other hand, FileZilla server is the version of the software that is installed on a server which might be on your internal network or hosted on a remote location. Additionally files might be manually deleted or moved on the remote server depending upon permissions granted. It provides a graphical user interface that allows you to connect to the server, browse its files, and download or upload files as needed. The FileZilla client is the version of the software that is installed on your computer and used to transfer files to and from a remote FTP/SFTP/FTPS servers. It comes in two different versions: FileZilla client and FileZilla server. Lack of support: As an open-source solution, FileZilla offers no customer/technical support options for help with any configuration or operational issues that may arise.įileZilla is an open-source software project that allows you to transfer files between computers over a network. FileZilla, on the other hand, may struggle to handle high volume file transfer requirements, may not be suitable for enterprise-level file transfers. Scalability: MFT software can handle large-scale file transfer requirements, can scale up or down as per the organization’s requirements, and in a time of need has the support of an organisation like Coviant Software to help the business user. Additional endpoints include cloud storage such as Amazon S3, Azure, Blob and Google Cloud Platform. Integration with enterprise systems: MFT software can integrate with enterprise systems such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems, enabling seamless data exchange between applications. This eliminates the need for manual intervention and ensures that files are transferred reliably and on time. FileZilla does not provide workflow automation. Workflow automation: MFT software can automate file transfer workflows by setting up triggers, notifications, and alerts based on predefined rules. FileZilla, on the other hand, has a limited number of advanced security features. This makes it easier to track and control file transfers, set up automated workflows, and ensure compliance with security policies.Īdvanced security features: MFT software offers a range of security features such as encryption of files in transit and at rest, role based access controls, whitelisting and blacklisting of external entities, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data during transit. Centralized management: MFT software provides a centralized interface/dashboard to manage and monitor file transfer activities across multiple servers and locations. 2/29/2024 0 Comments Aquarium tour virtualOnce commercially harvested in unsustainable numbers, the Aquarium and other groups formed the Chesapeake Terrapin Alliance and successfully fought for legislation to ban the turtles' harvest in 2007. Over the years, the Aquarium has helped protect a variety of aquatic species, including the Maryland state reptile, the diamondback terrapin. In addition to more recent discoveries, including the ability of jellyfish to launch venom-filled mucus grenades and female swellsharks to reproduce asexually, in the late 1990s and early 2000s, the Aquarium played a role in the discovery that poison dart frogs get their skin toxins from the insects and other tiny arthropods they eat. Plans are underway to move the dolphins again in the near future, this time to the National Aquarium's innovative, first-of-its-kind dolphin sanctuary. Dolphin Discovery opened in the Marine Mammal Pavilion on Pier 4 in 1990. Dolphins on the Moveĭolphins were originally (and briefly) housed in what is now Blacktip Reef, which was also where a ray exhibit called Wings in the Water was located. Last year, the Aquarium celebrated the release of its 300th rehabilitated animal, a Kemp's ridley sea turtle. A baby seal found on a Virginia beach became the first animal rescued, rehabilitated and released back into the ocean by Aquarium staff in 1991. In 1990, the opening of our Marine Mammal Pavilion on Pier 4 allowed the Aquarium to expand its participation in the Northeast Marine Mammal Stranding Network. Thanks to heroic efforts by staff-many of whom stayed at the Aquarium and former Animal Care Center in Fells Point overnight, traveling to and from both buildings by kayak-every single animal fared just fine. The storm surge put the Aquarium's entire ground level under 2 feet of water, and there's a watermark on the wall inside the Staff Entrance on Pier 3 to prove it. More recently, the Aquarium was shuttered for two days following Hurricane Isabel in September 2003. In November 1983, the Aquarium closed for three weeks so workers could address a condensation issue in the upper reaches of the Upland Tropical Rain Forest exhibit. While the extended closure for COVID-19 in 2020 was the longest in the Aquarium's history, it wasn't the first. The Aquarium is usually only closed two days a year, Thanksgiving and Christmas. (The Marine Mammal Pavilion on Pier 4, which opened in December 1990, cost $35 million.) Records show that Aquarium leaders were hoping for 650,000 guests in the first year they welcomed more than double that, with 1.5 million visitors between August 1981 to August 1982. The total construction cost of the original Pier 3 building, which was built without any federal funding, was $21.3 million. The National Aquarium is a nonprofit organization, but its buildings and the piers on which they sit are owned by the City of Baltimore. The 150-year-old, 5,000-pound skeleton of a finback whale known as Omega is on permanent loan from New York State Museum in Albany. The enormous whale skeleton that hangs from the ceiling above what is now Blacktip Reef has also been part of the Aquarium since the start. The quote-which is from his book, "The Immense Journey: An Imaginative Naturalist Explores the Mysteries of Man and Nature," published in 1957-still appears on a wall just inside the Aquarium's Main Entrance. Words To Set Our Thinking RightĪn August 8, 1981, article in the New York Times about the National Aquarium's grand opening begins, "On a plaque, to set our thinking right as we begin, are the words of Loren Eiseley: ‘If there is any magic on this planet, it is contained in water.'" Loren Eiseley was an anthropologist, science writer, ecologist and poet. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on August 8, 1978, three years to the day before the grand opening. Because of the proposed height and design of the Aquarium building, plans shifted to Pier 3. Initially, the Aquarium was going to be built between the Maryland Science Center and Harborplace Light Street pavilion, where the Baltimore Visitor Center now stands. When that project's funding was cut in 1972, Baltimore pivoted, and Plan B began taking shape. By 1971, designs for a federally funded public housing project called Inner Harbor West were complete. "It's well known that Mayor William Donald Schaefer and a trip to Boston played a key role in the Aquarium's development," says Scott Perich, the Aquarium's director of long-range planning, "but the redevelopment of the Inner Harbor with a convention center, shops and an aquarium, as our origin story typically begins, was actually Plan B." In 1966, Baltimore City residents voted to create an Inner Harbor renewal plan to revitalize the industrial harbor with its aging piers and wharves. 2/29/2024 0 Comments A silent voice manga dexThe romance element comes in when Kasahara falls for her super tough drill instructor-they had a fun chemistry that I loved. Honestly, Kasahara doesn’t always seem like a prime candidate for the vigorous training and dangers of becoming a soldier (she tends to cry a lot throughout the series- I couldn’t decide if that bugged me as a sexist stereotype or if it made me connect to her more-if I’m being honest, though, I think it made me connect to her, since I’d probably be a puddle of tears if I were in many of the situations she finds herself in). The premise seems a bit out there, but the topics of censorship and freedom of thought ring true and it’s hard not to get wrapped up in the story as we see Kasahara take a stand time and time again for what she believes in. The main character is a young woman named Iku Kasahara, who joined the Library Forces (unbeknownst to her parents) because of an experience she had when she was younger where a brave young Library Forces member rescued her book from being confiscated from her very hands. It has turned into a true war-and lives are put on the line. The plot centers around the Library Forces, who are fighting against the government’s censorship committee and trying to keep books available for everyone. I’ll admit that while I find action interesting, it’s often the romance in a series that keeps me flipping the pages (which isn’t too different from my novel reading, really). Library Wars is my favorite manga series I’ve read so far! I love the fact that it blends action and romance really nicely, not letting either element overpower the other. Especially since her hard-hearted drill instructor seems to have it in for her! But now that she's finally a recruit, she's finding her dream job to be a bit of a nightmare. Iku Kasahara has dreamed of joining the Library Defense Force ever since one of its soldiers stepped in to protect her favorite book from being confiscated in a bookstore when she was younger. The libraries vow to protect their collections, and with the help of local governments, form a military group to defend themselves-the Library Forces! In the near future, the federal government creates a committee to rid society of books it deems unsuitable. My content rating: T+ - Older Teen (Some violence, Nothing more than kissing) Library Wars (Volumes 1-15) by Kiiro Yumi Hope these bite-sized reviews will be enough to feed your fiction addiction! I’ve been reading a lot of manga lately, but I haven’t reviewed any of it here on the blog, partly because I don’t feel super-qualified (as a newbie manga reader I don’t really know what I’m talking about) and partly because I just wasn’t sure how well these reviews “fit.” But now that I’ve read five full manga series, I’ve decided that I at least need to post some bite-sized reviews and tell you my thoughts. 2/29/2024 0 Comments Loading gifsHowever, most of the email clients today have the option of showing GIFs. Among other things, old versions of Outlook have problems with this. It is worth noting that there are still a few email clients who cannot show animated GIFs. Pay attention to whether the email client supports the animated GIF For example, you may want to show that the new sneakers are available on the webhop They must be short and straight to the point. De skal være korte og straight to the point. With an animated GIF, you can show a short demonstration of a new feature on your webshop or a short video from your warehouse, where you receive the new spring collection. For this reason alone, you should strongly consider using the animations.Īnother reason is that it can be a good way to replace an animation that you would like to show, but which would otherwise not be possible, as the majority of email clients do not support video clips in emails. It will help to keep the attention in your emails, and it will help with your future open rates as people get used to your emails always being fresh and interesting. The first reason is that you get increased commitment in your emails. If we look at the slightly more technical part, there are several good reasons to consider animations in emails. For even in the more serious industries one can see an effective use of an animation, e.g. The first thing to consider is whether an animated GIF fits the target audience – or how to create the message and the content of the animation. This means that people can be presented with an animated graphic that can awaken the interest of the recipient more than if they saw a boring, static image. The vast majority of email clients today can read and display GIFs. More and more people start using animated GIFs in their email marketing. Today there are many more fun and interesting ways to use the animations. GIF images and animations have actually been used for many years on the websites all over the world, but where there were many horrible examples of GIF’s in the old days, and where in many cases, most often appeared like a joke. GIFs (short for Graphics Interchange Format) have been used since the end of the 80’s/start of the 90’s and they differ from other image formats like JPG and PNG by not being able to contain as many colours as JPG and PNG can, but at the same time, a GIF can be animated, which JPG and PNG cannot. One of the interesting and funny ways to make email campaigns is to use animated GIFs in emails. The battle for space in your customers’ inbox is tough, so it is about making emails as interesting as possible. Unless you have been living under a rock for the past year, you will have noticed that the emails you receive are becoming more and more creative. 2/29/2024 0 Comments Bsnes emulator fast forwardMoreover, the No$SNS emulator also has built-in tools to test out SNES code. Some accessories that No$SNS supports include the Exertainment Bike, Pachinko Dial, Barcode Battler, NTT Data Pad, Twin-Taps, and the X-Band Keyboard. With this emulator, you’ll be able to enjoy a more authentic SNES gameplay experience on your computer. This is where No$SNS comes in, providing support for these accessories that is absent in other emulators. If you still own your original SNES accessories, you might want to put them to good use. It also incorporates VSync support, but this is slightly impeded by minor input lag. Nestopia UE even added on to its original release with additional features like custom palettes for games and Famicom mics. While this refurbished emulator is similar to RetroArch, it’s less complicated to set up, making it more user-friendly for those who are not tech-savvy. While the developers discontinued support for the app in 2008, it was later resurrected as Nestopia UE (Undead Edition). The original Nestopia was renowned for its highly accurate emulation that was supported by additional features like cheats and the option to mute audio when running in alternate speed mode. The NES.emu emulator will cost you $3.99 on Google Play Store. Moreover, it supports landscape orientation which is absent from many famous emulators for Android. Hence, you can play however you want with NES.emu, either with a Bluetooth controller or keyboard. These include support for cheats, save states, backups, multi-touch controls, and external accessories. With NES.emu, you get a variety of additional features absent in other emulators. However, that shouldn’t be a problem if you have a relatively decent Android device. NES.emu is one of the most versatile emulators out there that can run smoothly on Android devices-provided, of course, that you at least have a 1GHz processor to make it run smoothly. Even if you can’t stand using your phone’s touchscreen, you can connect a Bluetooth controller for a more seamless gameplay experience.įurthermore, John NESS also provides a host of useful features such as cheats, zip file support, and more. What makes this emulator stand out is its UI/UX, with buttons and controls meticulously mapped to work well on the touchscreen of your phone. The successor to the original John SNES, John NESS provides support to a much larger library of SNES games. John NESS is another option you can consider for your Android phone. Higan is also able to emulate other consoles, including the ancient Famicom, GameBoy, and Sega.ĥ. If you don't cancel your trial before the 7 days are over, you're then charged $14.99 a month, though Adobe will refund you in full if you cancel within 14 days. But its free trial can't be downloaded without giving payment info, as though you were actually buying it. Trial version requires credit card info and physical address: Granted, Adobe products have been historically prone to piracy, which is one of the reasons why the company's moved to a subscription model. You can also give Adobe a phone number that it can call if you need to recover your account. Alternatively, you can opt to receive the code via email, but authentication apps are still the ideal method. Secure log-in options available: Adobe offers two-step verification to confirm your log-in, although it sends a text via SMS instead of sending a code to an authentication app, the latter of which is more secure because the verification code is a lot more difficult to intercept. This is a lot handier than having to manually move a file from one device to another, and a more reliable method of file retrieval. Syncs with iPhone and Android version: "DC" stands for Document Cloud, which works basically like Google Docs - once you're logged into your Adobe cloud account on your PC, you can start editing a PDF there and read it later on an iPhone or Android device that has the Acrobat Reader mobile app installed and set up. It streamlines getting a signed document back and lets you track what's signed and what isn't. Semi-automated signature requests: If your job has you frequently sending out documents and forms to be signed, the Send for Signature feature may be a lifesaver. Then each change can be tagged as "Accepted," "Rejected," "Cancelled," or "Completed." Like Google Docs, this change tracking tool can genuinely streamline your workflow and help you avoid mistakes in the final product. Acrobat will actually analyze the text and highlight changes. If you're just editing the occasional document, this won't be a big deal, but it should be handy for people who have to wrangle a lot of PDFs on a regular basis.ĭocument comparison: This is more than just looking at two files side-by-side. Adobe Acrobat does the same thing with PDFs. With this function, you could track all of your open web pages at a glance, without cluttering your task bar. Tabbed viewing: When the Mozilla Firefox web browser first appeared, one of its major distinctions was tabbed browsing. The website also has a User Guide, which is basically an online manual. Clicking on the "?" icon in the upper right opens up a web page with seven more videos for beginners, and seven for experienced users, all ranging from one minute to 13 minutes in length. If you say that you're a beginner, the app will show you a few major features, walk you through exporting a PDF to Microsoft Word, show you how to scan a document, and even play a one-minute video about editing PDFs. Substantial tutorial info: During the download process, you're asked about your level of familiarity with Acrobat. Is it worth the high entry fee? Let's find out. From the beginning, Adobe Acrobat has been the default app for tackling this task, and Pro DC is the company's top-of-the-line version. A variety of apps and programs can read PDF files, but if you want to create or edit a PDF, things can get complicated. |
